We are excited to announce that we will be attending the ‘Reducing HCAIs: Combating pervasive threats’ conference at The Mermaid, London on the 30th June 2015.
The Event
The event will fully explore the greatest infection risks facing healthcare providers today. Delegates will return to their day jobs with a better understanding of the threats on the horizon and with new knowledge on how to prevent and control HCAIs in the care settings for which they are responsible. The latest speakers at the event include Jon Otter-Infection Prevention and Control Epidemiologist Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Professor Colin Garner- Chief Executive Antibiotic Research UK, Professor Mark Wilcox- Chair of Rapid Review Panel Public Health England and Hala Audi- Head of the Review Team Review on Antimicrobial Resistance.
Surfacide Masterclass
Surfacide will be delivering a masterclass session on the day, presented by Jeff Veenhuis; the President of Surfacide Manufacturing. In this masterclass Jeff will introducing the concept of UVC disinfection, the challenges of first generation UVC systems, how Surfacide overcomes these challenges along with evidence and outcomes we have achieved. This will be followed by a demonstration of the system and a Q&A session.
