CNWL – Community and Mental Health NHS Trust

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust are an NHS Foundation Trust in England. It provides healthcare in London, Milton Keynes, Surrey and elsewhere. It was created in 2002 by a merger between Brent, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster Mental Health NHS Trust, Harrow and Hillingdon Healthcare Trust, and the substance misuse service component of Hounslow and Spelthorne Community and Mental Health NHS Trust.

It subsequently won additional contracts, including Milton Keynes Community Health Services from April 2013. It has substantial contracts for prison health services. CNWL is a member of Imperial College Health Partners.

Transition Activities and Readiness Facilitations

Bates IT in collaboration with CGI (ITO) performed several transition activities and readiness facilitations, including:

  • North London – relocation, build and configure, user acceptance testing (UAT), user training, and early life support (ELS) Including:
    • Edgeware community hospital.
    • 350 Euston Road.
    • Various health centres across North London.

  • Relocation of equipment installs, moves, adds and changes (iMacs).
  • Provided knowledgeable and dedicated deployment, floor walking early life support engineering workforce – with intrinsic locally lead Bates IT management.
  • Upgraded Laptop and Desktops to Windows 7 (including Outlook 2010, Imprivata) CERNER Implementation.
  • Various Projects (decants, patching, network connectivity floor walking, office moves).
  • CMDB and asset management.
  • WEEE Disposal.
