Systems Powering Healthcare (SPHERE)

Systems Powering Healthcare, otherwise known as SPHERE, is a wholly-owned joint venture of the Royal Marsden and Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trusts, and a provider of enabling infrastructure, technology and digital solutions to them. The Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust Hospital has numerous locations across London, including the main hospital on Fulham Road in Chelsea, and the West Middlesex Hospital in Isleworth.

All in One (AIO) Upgrade programme

Bates IT is a sub-contracted partner to SPHERE and specialise in the delivery and support of a wide range of end-user technology services, and through this arrangement delivered the “All in One (AIO) Upgrade programme” for the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. This was required to enable the implementation of the CERNER electronic patient record platform in November 2019 and resulted in the deployment of over 1000 All In One device running the Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System.
